PCI modem recommendation?Dear Lazyweb, I need a PCI fax/modem for my office Frankenbox. This one at Newegg has at least one review that says it works but if you can confirm or recommend another — preferably something supported by an in-kernel driver — I’d appreciate it. | |

I don’t think that they make the same exact model any more but I highly recommend MultiTech.

I’m pretty sure this is a full PCI hardware modem that works fine under Linux: 3CP2977
Can be had for pretty cheap too.
